Welcome

Welcome

Welcome to my little corner of the internet, where I help the world to better understand finance and accounting concepts, become effective project managers, develop their leadership skills, and enjoy the fruits of some of my “side projects” outside of my career.

So why should you listen to me? Excellent question, and one that you should be asking every single time that you go searching for information or advice on the ole internets. I am a Parisian business professor, applied physicist, and entrepreneur.

My business finance research focuses on hidden financial data sources, risk and the relationship between risk and valuation of non-traditional assets (startup equities, distressed equities, complex options and convertibles). I also research innovative teaching methods for accounting, entrepreneurial finance, project management, and negotiations.

My technical research focuses on innovative renewable energy systems that use concentrating solar collectors, thermal energy storage, and integrated systems engineering to provide 24 hour access to solar energy.

I currently teach at l’Institut Supérieur de Gestion (ISG) and L’Institut Ferrandi, but I have also taught at Paris School of Business (PSB), EPF School of Engineering (EPF – formerly École Polytechnique Féminin), Institut d’études supérieures des arts (IESA), , and Dauphine University.

In my spare time, I write articles on entrepreneurship and business management topics, develop learning resources for my current and former students, play really awful/wonderful folk-punk music, and write software to help me with some of my projects. Feel free to look around, sign up, and comment on anything you would like. Conversation is a good thing, and I hope that we can learn from each other. In other words … welcome!
